Welcome to Pennington Elementary
Message from the Principal
Mrs. Danielle D. Marrow
The Pennington community maintains a core value, Caring For One Another. Having received recognition as a New York State School of Excellence, our school is committed to encouraging student participation in all learning experiences and activities. Providing quality education is very evident when our students are consistently awarded top prizes in the Tri-County Math and Science Fair, All County Orchestra, and the Shakespeare Festival at SUNY Purchase. With cooperation and parental involvement, the Pennington children are guided both at home and then in the classroom, under the direction of a dedicated faculty of 30 teachers and a support staff that includes a school psychologist, social worker, school nurse, speech clinician, and a resource room teacher.
The ultimate goal of the Pennington Elementary School Code of Conduct is to foster responsibility in each child through the formation of a Student Council, and a highly productive and talented student chorus, band, and orchestra.
The Pennington School staff is dedicated to its educational mission of providing quality instruction which enhances the academic and social development of all its students. Our educational program is designed to develop the whole child, with emphasis on his or her unique strengths and needs. We believe a child's learning experiences should be joyful and successful. We encourage and promote positive self-esteem and confidence by building on each child's strengths.
Our commitment to excellence is accomplished because our families and staff work together purposefully with mutual respect and trust in the pursuit of educational excellence for our children.
We, the parents and the school staff have a shared purpose - to effectively and efficiently work with one another to advance the education and social growth of our most precious gifts - our children.
